Underwater acoustic systems
We provide a wide range of underwater acoustic systems, for i.e. ultra low noise hydrophones, which are suitable both for oceanographic research and environmental monitoring.
Just like microphones are used to listen sounds in the air, hydrophones are designed to detect sounds, signals and vibrations in liquids.
Hydrophones – most of which are made from piezoelectric ceramics – can also be used to detect subsea leaks and to measure the quality and intensity of sounds produced by human activities in the sea.
We are also able to design and produce custom devices, according to your specific needs and activities.
Our solutions go far beyond underwater hydrophones for data acquisition and related equipment. They are globally used for offshore survey activities, sea floor surveys, military defence systems, public and private bioacoustics researchers and underwater noise monitoring programs.
